Veteran comic actor Moses Olaiya Adejumo, popularly known as Baba Sala, has died at the age of 82.
okaynews.com understands that the iconic dramatist died on Sunday at his house in Ilesa, Osun state, southwest Nigeria.
Baba Sala’s death was made known by his media aide Isaac Haastrup.
“He came to church two Sundays ago and he was the one that said the benediction. Baba has gone to be with the Lord and he will be missed by many people including his fans,” he said.
okaynews.com learnt that the veteran comedian’s remains have been deposited at the morgue in Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.
The comedy great recently solicited financial assistance from the public after suffering a reported stroke.
