Veteran Yoruba author, Oladejo Okediji dies aged 89

Oladejo Okediji, a veteran yoruba writer, has died at the age of 89.

According to reports reaching Okay Nigeria, the author Opa Agbeleka passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.

Goke, one of his son, confirmed the incident on a phone call saying his father was not sick before his died.

However, sympathisers have besieged the residence of the late auhtor at the Mabolaje area of Oyo Town in Oyo State.

Some of his popular works are: Opa Agbeleka, Oga Ni Bukola, Sango, Iroyin Ayo, Binu Tiri and a play, Aajo Aje (Running After Riches).
