Following the rift between Vincent Enyeama and the Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh which prompted the former team captain to announce his retirement yesterday, the latter has opened up on the issue accusing the goalkeeper of lying against him.
According to the interview conducted by the NFF, Sunday Oliseh disclosed that he wasn’t happy with the training input of the players in Belgium on Tuesday (the day Enyeama arrived the camp due to the burial of his late mom) and at dinner after noting his disappointment to the players, Vincent Enyeama who was the captain tried to speak to the team but he (Oliseh) refused him -telling him that that was not the right time.
According to Oliseh, who said Vincent lied against him -Enyeama still insisted on speaking after refusing him, he still told him not to speak….This almost caused a brawl between both of them in front of the players as Oliseh told him that he is the team coach and no team can have two coaches…. The confusion and rowdiness prompted the teammates to carry Vincent away from the dinner hall. – Download VIDEO
