Okay.ng learned that WaterAid Nigeria with aid from the Heineken Africa foundation has released the third section of the nine months ‘Scale-up-Hygiene’ undertaking to be implemented in three states of Bauchi, Enugu and Oyo.

The Programme tracking, assessment and report Officer of WaterAid Nigeria, Masheke Mallo, while giving an overview of the venture on the launching held in Bauchi yesterday, said the challenge could build at the achievements of the primary and second stages to reinforce governance structures for sustainable management of WASH service delivery, boom access to clean water, decent lavatories and right hygiene services in addition to guide the control of the further spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

According to him, the objective of the segment 3 of the mission is to deepen hygiene promotion to control the unfold of COVID-19 inside the targeted states, make certain the sustainability of existing hand-washing centers in decided on public places and institutions within the goal states and advocate for technical support to improve WASH governance for sustainable WASH offerings.
