‘We Are Not Aware Broda Shaggi Was Shot’ – Ogun Police Says

Ogun State, Nigeria – The Ogun State Police Command has denied reports claiming that Nigerian entertainer Broda Shaggi was shot within the state.

Okay News reports that the command said it could not confirm that such an incident occurred anywhere within its jurisdiction, adding that no report of the alleged shooting had been received at any police formation across the state.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the command said investigations had nonetheless been initiated to ascertain the facts surrounding the claim.

According to the police spokesperson, the command is currently working to verify the report and determine the true circumstances of the allegation.

The police urged members of the public to rely only on official communication from the command while the investigation continues.

The statement also reaffirmed the commitment of the command to ensuring the safety of residents and maintaining law and order across Ogun State.
