After the disappointing defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal bounced back with back to back victories in the Premier League and they need to extend the winning run to finish in the top four this season.

Even if the Gunners can earn CL qualification, their season will still be regarded as a failure. Next up, the Gunners will collide against Stoke City away from home.

It will not be surprising to see Wenger in charge of the club even next season and as far as the transfers are concerned, the latest reports suggest that he is serious about signing French international and Monaco star Thomas Lemar.

Arsene has been a huge admirer of the 21-year-old playmaker and even tried to sign him in the past. Now, according to a report covered by John Cross ( Mirror), Wenger is ready to finally hire his services and has made the Les Bleus winger a top priority.

Lemar has been in fantastic form for the Ligue 1 leaders this season. Monaco are 3 points ahead of reigning French champions PSG and also have a game in hand.

Thomas has so far featured in 52 games in all competitions under the management of Jardim this season and directly contributed in 27 goals (14 goals and 13 assists). He mainly plays on the left wing and could replace Alexis Sanchez if the Chilean ends up leaving the Emirates.

As per the provided Mirror link, Arsenal are confident about signing Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from Schalke this summer. Moreover, they are also interested in Van Dijk but Chelsea are favorites to secure his signature.

Lemar’s current contract with Monaco will expire in 2020 and he is valued at 47.8million euros ($52million) as per CIES Football Observatory.
