Why I Invited Osinbajo to See Me In London – Buhari

By Farouk Mohammed

President Muhammadu Buhari has said he invited vice president Yemi Osinbajo to London when he (BUhari) was sick to thank him.

The president made this known while addressing a delegation of APC and PDP leaders who paid him a visit at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.

Before the president left the country for London for a follow-up medical treatment, he handed power to Osinbajo, who stood in for him for over 100 days in an acting capacity.

Osinbajo then paid the president a visit at the Abuja house in London without disclosing the reason for the visit, thereafter.

”The efforts by the vice president is commendable. He used his intellect to run all over the place. I was seeing him 24 hours on NTA. I congratulate them and I allowed him to come and see me to thank him personally for what he has done,” he said.
