Reality TV star Mercy Eke has disclosed that her partner gives her a regular allowance to help cover some of her expenses, including the salaries of her domestic workers.
Eke shared this information during a recent episode of the show “Love Is A Game,” Okay.ng reports.
Eke, who gained fame after winning the fourth season of Big Brother Naija, revealed that the financial support from her partner was not something she requested but rather an act of kindness from him.
“My guy [partner] pays me an allowance. But it’s not that I mandated him to do that. I have about six domestic workers. So the allowance is just to assist me to pay my staff,” she explained.
Eke emphasized that she never asked her partner to take on the responsibility of paying her staff’s salaries.
However, she appreciates the gesture as it helps reduce her financial burdens.
“I didn’t tell him to pay my staff’s salaries. He’s doing it on his own to reduce my responsibilities. Because of that, I always want to do things for him too,” she added.
While Eke has kept her current relationship private, her last publicly known relationship was with fellow reality TV star Ike Onyeama.
