Senate spokesperson, Dino Melaye, has revealed the reason why the leadership of the Nigerian senate had to postpone the ongoing ministerial screening to next week Tuesday and Wednesday.

Speaking in an interview with the Africa Independent Television, AIT, Melaye said the exercise was postponed “so that the senate can attend to other legislative responsibilities,” like bills, meetings and other duties.

“Nigerians should expect a better robust screening than we’ve had now,” he said adding that the senators after each screening exercise reviewed their actions with the aim to improve their performance
