Woman Dies After Delivering Quadruplets In US

A woman in America died after delivering quadruplets; babies were conceived though IVF and she went into labour prematurely

A woman Erica Moralas on Friday, January 16 died after successfully delivering quadruplets.

The four babies were conceived through IVF and 36-year-old Erica, went into labour at seven months on Thursday January 5.

All four babies – three girls, one boy – were safely delivered. But Erica went into hypovolemic shock, an emergency condition where one experiences a severe amount of blood loss. She died at 1:50 a.m. on Friday, January 16, before she even had a chance to hold her newborns in her arms.

Erica and her husband Carlos Moralas  met at a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2006 and got married the following year.

 “How could this have happened? She was fine, and then she wasn’t. She was alive and then she was just gone,” Carlos told People Magazine in an interview.

I went from having the best day of my life to the next morning experiencing the worst day of my life. My four babies came into the world and then my wife died.”

The babies have been named. The boys, Carlos Jr. Tracy and Paisley while the girl already has her named, Erica.
