World Cup Squad: No Player Has Been Dropped Yet – Rohr

Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has insisted that no player has been dropped on the basis on their performances or commitment to the National team as displayed in camp.

The 64-year-old tactician made this known to reporters at the ASO Rock villa earlier after the players and officials of the team visited President Muhammadu Buhari.

“No players was dropped”

“The five players we announced are being placed on the standby list”

“Since we can’t take everyone to Russia”

“And remember, there could be some injury situation as it happened Four years ago with Elderson Echiejile,”

Although the Franco-German tactician said he is not praying for any more injuries.

The Super Eagles will later today leave for London ahead of Saturday’s Pre-World Cup friendly against the Three Lions at Wembley Stadium.
