The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has reacted to Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

Onyeama, through his Twitter handle described the act as “sickening.”

Okay.ng understands that Nigerian shops in South Africa are being looted and burnt by mindless criminals with ineffective police protection.

The foreign affairs minister tweeted on Monday, “Received sickening and depressing news of continued burning and looting of Nigerian shops and premises in #SouthAfrica by mindless criminals with ineffective police protection. Enough is enough. We will take definitive measures.”
