Popular Nollywood actor Francis Duru has announced the heartbreaking loss of his son, Ifeanyi.

The thespian shared the tragic news on his Instagram page on Thursday morning, expressing profound grief and paying tribute to his son’s courageous spirit.

In an emotional post, Duru described Ifeanyi as a “champ” and a “lion” who fought valiantly. The actor’s words captured the depth of his sorrow and the strength he witnessed in his son during his final moments.

“My champ! My lion, you fought like a lion. If this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful,” Duru wrote.

“Ifeanyi, my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace, son, rest. I give you thanks, Lord!”
