Big Brother Naija Unveils Host For 2018 Edition

Popular media personality and host of Big Brother Naija season 2, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will host the 2018 edition of the reality show.

This was announced by M-Net West Africa on Monday.

The media personality was selected based on the success of the second edition which saw Efe Ejeba win the N25 million grand prize and an SUV after three months in Biggie’s house.

In a statement released by M-Net West Africa, the regional director Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu said:

“We are thrilled to have Ebuka return as host of Big Brother Naija. This was the platform that unearthed his potential first as a housemate and then as a host, ultimately launching him to stardom.

“He is a prime example of what the Big Brother platform offers, as he has proven over the years to be one of Nigeria’s biggest names in pop culture and entertainment whilst also lending his voice to youth empowerment initiatives. Fans and viewers alike are familiar with his cool, debonair and witty, on-air and on stage personality.

“They are guaranteed to enjoy the excitement that he brings to the Big Brother Naija show.”

The grand prize for this year’s edition is N45 million. This was announced before the audition for the season three housemates which held in six states across the country.
