The Ogun State Government on Wednesday announced the immediate removal of a Commissioner in the State Civil Service Commission, Mr. Ebenezer Olubena, over acts of misconduct.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, disclosed the commissioner’s sack in a statement released in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Adeoluwa said the removal was in accordance with extant laws.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Olubena was directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary at the Commission.
