35 Laden of Ships With Petrol, Other Commodities Expected at Lagos Ports

Thirty-five ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other cargoes are expected at the Apapa and the Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, from Aug. 1 to Aug. 20.

This is contained in “Shipping Position”, a daily publication by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos.

According to the statement, the goods on the expected vessels include: petrol, steel products, bulk gas, bulk corn, bulk wheat and bulk fertilisers.

The statement also said that six ships laden with different products were awaiting berth at the ports.

It said that four of the ships were laden with petroleum products, one with bulk gas and the other with base oil. (NAN)
