EMIR-OF-ILORIN-sulu-Gambari

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has dismissed reports that Fulani herdsmen are responsible for wanton destruction of lives and properties across the nation.

Gambari’s remark is coming at a time when Fulani herdsmen have been accused of killing people and sacking villages across the country.

The herdsmen, just last week attacked a community in Enugu State and a Seminarian was killed during the attack.

But speaking in Ilorin, the state capital on Monday, the monarch insisted that Fulanis are peace loving people who are honest in dealing with other tribes.

He also appealed to Nigerians to ensure peace in the nation through harmonious working relationships and honesty.
