Court Orders INEC to Recognise Jimoh Ibrahim as PDP’s Candidate for Ondo Governorship Election

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declared businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim of the Ali Modu Sherrif-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the party’s authentic candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated for November 26 in Ondo State.

Justice Okon Abang gave the order for the enforcement of his earlier judgment delivered on June 29, 2016.

Abang ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Ibrahim, displacing Eyitayo Jegede.
