Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has declared talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo, match-fit to play against Manchester United in tonight’s UEFA super cup in Macedonia.

The coach who stated this at the press conference of the Filipo II National Stadium, said his players are not tired of winning titles.

“We have players with personality who are not tired of winning. That’s very important to counter everything, “added the coach.

“We have prepared well and also wanting to start the season. It’s the first official game and we want it to start well. Physically we work well and we rest well too. We are prepared”.

“There are many games. We will see and prepare our team as always. We know a lot about the rival but what matters to us, above all, is what we are going to do.”

Speaking about Ronaldo, Zidane said the Portugues has had three training sessions with the team and he looked sharp.

“There has been a lot of speculations, as always, but he is calm and I am impressed that he is physically fit like the day of the Champions League final a few months ago.

“What I am interested in is this, he has had just three practice sessions and that means a lot. If he’s with us it’s because he’s ready to play, but we’ll see tomorrow (Tuesday). ”

“It depends on how the player comes in and the decision of the coach and the player. The decision I made as a coach talking to the player. Physically he’s very good, really, and that’s what matters to the coach and all of Real Madrid.”
