Chairman of Capital Oil and Gas, Ifeanyi Ubah, has said that impunity in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will make the party lose the 2019 general elections.

The former Anambra PDP governorship aspirant stated the party lacks internal democratic tenets that are meant to be the core values of a progressive party.

Ubah spoke when he appeared on a programme on AIT, Focus Nigeria, on Friday.

The oil magnate further disclosed that he made huge investments towards the growth and development of the party.

He said his decision to dump the PDP for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was prompted by the outcome of the primaries election held for the Anambra State governorship election.

The oil magnate also accused former Governor Peter Obi of hijacking the structure of the party in collaboration with some leaders for his personal gains.

While commending President Muhammadu Buhari for allowing a fair contest in Anambra, Ubah called for concerted efforts from political leaders from the South-East to help grow APGA into a formidable party.
