Nigeria defeated Libya 1-0 on Friday evening to record their first win at the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco.

Sunday Falaye’s strike in the 79th minute was enough to give the Super Eagles the maximum points after Monday’s 0-0 draw against Rwanda.

The goal came in the 79th minute. Osas Okoro’s corner kick into a crowded area fell kindly for young forward Falaye, who made no mistake as he fired past Mohamed Nashnush.
