Traditional rulers across Nigeria have resolved to ensure the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election, says the Emir of Maradun in Zamfara.

Alhaji Garba Tambari made this known after paying a condolence visit to the president in Daura, Katsina State, on Sunday.

He said all citizens who want the best for the country must support the reelection of Buhari in 2019.

Buhari is on a five-day private visit to his home country, Daura.

He has yet to make any official pronouncement on whether he will seek reelection or not.

“Anybody who wishes this country good, who wishes this country well, will want Mr President to continue after 2019. So, we wish he will continue by the grace of God,’’ he said.
