A petrol tanker has exploded in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
According to reports reaching okay.ng, The explosion occurred on Wednesday evening at the Shagari Village junction along the Ilesa/ Owo Federal Highway.

According to Eyewitnesses at the scene, Six people died in the inferno. Five vehicles were engulfed in the fire. Number of causalities are not certain yet as of the time of updating this report.
