Italian football club, Juventus have issued a statement in support of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been accused of raping Kathryn Mayorga, a 34-year-old US former teacher.

The Italian club issued a statement through their official Twitter account and wrote:

“@Cristiano Ronaldo has shown in recent months his great professionalism and dedication, which is appreciated by everyone at Juventus.
