A Federal High Court judgement in Abuja has removed Ayogu Eze as All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Enugu state.

The court judgement delivered by Hon. Justice I Ekwo on Tuesday morning asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognize George Ogara as the candidate of the party.

The presiding judge berated the committee sent by the APC National Working Committee to conduct primary election in Enugu.

Ogara reacting to this development said:

“We thank God that justice has come at last. I urge our party members to remain united as we go for victory in the forthcoming election,” Ogara said.
