Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state Governor, has appointed Tayo Ayinde as Chief of Staff.

Okay.ng report that was Sanwo-Olu sworn in on Wednesday, May 29th, as the 15th Governor of Lagos at Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos Island.

On his first appointment, Ayinde was the Director General of Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Group (BOSCO) in 2019 general elections.

Tayo Ayinde

Ayinde, a Christian and native of Ikorodu area of Lagos, was born on August 24, 1964.

He has an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in banking and finance and Higher National Diploma (HND) in accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Anambra.

Ayinde worked briefly with TELL Magazine as accounting office in 1993.

In that same year, he joined the State Security Service (SSS) and retired in 2009.

He has a master’s degree in financial management from Lagos State University.

Ayinde also read strategic thinking approach at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

He read business model innovation at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

He also studied strategic financial analysis for business evaluation at Harvard Business School, Boston, US.
