Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje has appointed former Commissioner for Environment, Ali Makoda, as Chief of Staff.
Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, announced this in a statement on Thursday.
Ganduje congratulated Makoda and enjoined him to re-dedicate himself to the service of the people.
The governor also acknowledged the new appointee’s immense contribution to the development of the state, and commended him for his immeasurable commitment towards the feats achieved in his first tenure in office.
He said: “Ali Haruna Makoda is always an asset to our dear state. Hence the need for carrying him along in my second tenure in office.”
