DSS withdraws suit seeking to detain Sowore for another 20 days

The Department of State Services (DSS) has withdrawn a suit filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking to detain Omoyele Sowore for another 20 days.

It can be recalled that the court had earlier approved a request by DSS to detain Sowore for 45 days.

Okay.ng understands that the DSS filed charges of treason against Sowore and also accused him of trying to overthrow the government of President Muhammadu Buhari using RevolutionNow movement.

The court session is still ongoing on Tuesday at the time of filling this report.
