Senator Longjan: Senate adjourns plenary to honour late lawmaker

The Red Chambers of the National Assembly, Senate, on Tuesday, adjourned plenary to honour a member, Senator Ignatius Longjan, who died on Sunday.

Senator Longjan, who represents Plateau South Senatorial District at the Senate, passed away at a Turkish hospital after battling with an undisclosed illness.

On Tuesday, the lawmakers observed a minute silence and prayers before the adjournment of plenary.
