COVID-19: Nigeria records 328 new cases, 10 deaths — total now 11, 844

Nigeria has recorded 328 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 deaths on Friday, June 5th, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 13 states and the FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 121 cases.

The states with the new cases are Lagos (121), FCT (70), Bauchi (25), Rivers (18), Oyo (16), Kaduna (15), Gombe (14), Edo (13), Ogun (13), Jigawa (8), Enugu (6), Kano (5), Osun (2) and Ondo (2).

NCDC also announced that as of 11:40 pm on 5th June, there are 11, 844 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

Three thousand, six hundred and nine-six (3696) patients have been discharged with three hundred and thirty-three (333) deaths across the country.
