The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria has blacklisted six unregulated e-commerce companies that offer online trading platforms.

The commission warned that the financial services offered by these companies are not authorized, and they are not registered with SEC Nigeria.

The blacklisted e-commerce companies are Prime Invest and “Primeinv.co, FXBoxed, New Finance LLC and New Fx Limited, Axi24, Evolve Consulting LCC, and Trust Fund-Mining Global Pty Ltd.

The SEC advises the public to exercise caution and diligence in their investment choices. Individuals who engage with these e-commerce websites are doing so at their own risk, as they are not authorized by the commission.

In a circular via its website, the SEC advised the public to exercise due diligence when making investment choices, and warned that anyone who deals with these e-commerce websites does so at their own risk.
