Isaac Oyedepo, the son of Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, has openly confessed that he once battled with pornography.

Isaac shared his experience during an appearance on the podcast “Confession Box,” where he discussed how he became entangled with pornography during a trip to a European country.

“My confessions are good ones that will help people. I struggled with pornography before,” Isaac revealed. He recounted the moment it began, saying, “I remembered how it started. We traveled to one country, and I was meant to be in the room alone. I switched on the TV, and that’s it.”

Isaac emphasized that he overcame this challenge with divine intervention. “But God brought me out of it very quickly,” he said. He also expressed that he wished someone who had gone through a similar struggle had reached out to him sooner, as it might have helped him overcome it more quickly.

“I think people feel there are things we shouldn’t talk about, but today there are some pastors and church members still struggling with it,” Isaac noted. He stressed that spiritual success doesn’t necessarily equate to personal righteousness, stating, “You may be anointed, seeing signs and wonders, but it does not mean you are standing right.”

Isaac acknowledged that despite his own shortcomings, God’s grace and mercy helped him find his way. “There are times I found out I wasn’t right, but grace and mercy found me,” he shared. He encouraged transparency and support within the church, highlighting the importance of addressing such struggles openly.

“For the sake of someone who is genuine in the congregation, God can bypass you to meet the person; this is my confession,” Isaac concluded.
