Policeman Opens Fire On Danfo Over 100 Naira Dispute

A policeman, according to eyewitnesses, reportedly opened fire on a danfo bus because of a dispute with the driver over a hundred naira.

The incident, which happened around Iyana Ejigbo began when a policeman stopped a bus driver for passing a wrong way.

An eyewitness said the policeman had asked the driver for money with the later giving him 100 naira. The policeman protested that he wanted 200 naira and it went downhill from there.

The policeman opened fire on the bus loaded with passengers injuring four passengers. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment while the policeman,who has now gone into hiding, has not been produced by his colleagues.
