Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has successfully completed his medical examinations with Galatasaray, paving the way for a season-long loan move from Napoli.

The 26-year-old forward arrived in Istanbul late Monday night, greeted by a throng of excited fans at the airport.

On Tuesday, Osimhen and his representatives meticulously reviewed the paperwork after both Napoli and Galatasaray had reached a verbal agreement on the terms of the deal.

Following confirmation that the agreed terms were accurately reflected in the documents, Osimhen underwent a series of medical tests.

The striker is now set to fulfill media duties before his official unveiling as a Galatasaray player.

The loan agreement includes several key clauses, notably a break clause that could be activated during the winter transfer window.

Additionally, Osimhen’s release clause with Napoli will decrease to €75 million by July 2025, potentially opening the door for a permanent move next summer.
