Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has upheld his promise of donating ₦300 million to orphanages across the country through his foundation.
The singer had earlier announced his charitable pledge before his birthday, but many doubted whether he would follow through.
However, Davido has now shared proof of his donation, listing the orphanages that benefited from his foundation’s generosity.
Confirming the donation, Davido took to social media to express his joy at making a difference.
“My foundation was able to help over 500 motherless babies’ homes this year… we go again next year!” he wrote.
