Nearly ₦17bn Raked in For Babangida in Less Than 24Hrs of Book Launch

Nigeria’s Former Military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, had launched his autobiography captioned “A Journey in Service”.

Babangida received nearly ₦17 billion as a result of the donations by some Nigeria’s elites like Dangote, pledging ₦8 billion with payment of ₦2 billion for four years, with Abdulsamad Rabiu contributing ₦5 billion.

Other notable Nigerians like Folorunsho Alakija and others made their donations without public disclosure.

The book launching was hosted by the IBB Presidential Library Foundation, celebrating Babangida’s legacy, gathered a milestone in public support.

The book can be purchased at bookshops like Roving Heights with ₦40,000 for the paperback and ₦50,000 for the hardback.
