Regional Security, Economic Ties: Tinubu Meets US State Department Advisor

President Bola Tinubu has met with US State Department Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, in Paris, to discuss regional security and economic cooperation in Africa, okay.ng reports.

The meeting, as reported by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, via X, focused on building peace in the eastern DRC and expanding economic opportunities.

The US Mission in Nigeria had earlier confirmed the meeting, highlighting the continued diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the United States under President Tinubu’s leadership.

Recall that the President departed Abuja on a working trip to France. This president’s trip to France is his fifth visit to the country since assuming office on May 29, 2023.
