Kola Omotoso, one of the most talked-about contestants this season, lost his cool after observing what he described as Dede’s “disrespectful” closeness to fellow housemate Koyin. The tension heightened after fans had earlier believed Kola had moved on from Dede following their public kiss.
Kola, visibly frustrated, confided in Zita, one of the housemates he trusts most. “Just hear me out, right? You know I tell you things, and I trust you to the core. But what the fuck is going on downstairs with you and Koyin sitting on the bed? Like, you make me look stupid,” he angrily expressed.
Though Zita insisted they were only talking, Kola remained unconvinced. He later emphasized, “I don’t do that with any other person; that’s why I don’t do anything with any other person, because she’ll make it seem like I say, ‘oh, this one, this one.’ Even with Imisi, I won’t do that.”
Dede, meanwhile, offered a different perspective in a heart-to-heart chat with Joana. She revealed the encounter with Koyin was unique, saying: “It was like a moment that we had never had before. We were just more normal… more like a boy and a girl.”
She explained that alcohol plays a big role in her reactions at parties, admitting, “It takes me two hours to normalise.” Dede also recalled that Koyin, while tipsy, became unexpectedly emotional, adding: “All the time I get tipsy, I cry. He was crying, and I was laughing. I said, Why are you crying?”
Despite her explanation, fans on X (formerly Twitter) remain divided. Some strongly believe Dede and Koyin may have shared a kiss, while others think it was only a vulnerable emotional moment.
