The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the 2025 Batch C Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all its orientation camps in Nigeria.
According to the scheme, registration for all prospective corps members will take place from Wednesday, November 19, until midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Okay News reports that the confirmation was contained in a statement signed and released by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, on Wednesday.
The statement read: “The swearing-in ceremony holds on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.”
Embu added that the Director-General of the scheme, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe travels to their respective camps and advised them to avoid night journeys to ensure their safety.
Earlier on Tuesday, the NYSC had announced the release of call-up numbers for the Batch C prospective corps members on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, stating that the numbers were released according to the order of registration.
However, the management disclosed that due to limited capacity across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, “only about 40 percent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.”
The NYSC assured that those unable to participate in the Batch C exercise would be deferred to the next orientation programme.
