The Governor tasked the President-elect to deliver on his promises to Nigerians.

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has facilitated with President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the polls on Saturday March 28, urging him to work tirelessly towards fulfilling his electoral promises to the Nigerian electorate.

While speaking to newsmen in the Government House, Akure on Good Friday, April 2, Mimiko admonished Buhari to rule Nigeria with the tenets of the rule of law as contained in his acceptance speech.

The Governor assured that his administration will with the President-elect to move Nigeria forward.

He equally congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan for his show of statesmanship by congratulating Buhari before the final count of votes. He described the gesture as a step to further deepen Nigeria’s democracy.
