Dr Olaiya Oni, Nigeria’s former minister of Education is dead.
Oni died at the Federal Medical Centre FMC, in Owo on Sunday afternoon.
One of his close friends told Saharareporters that the former politician has been sick for the past three months at his Ise Ekiti hometown in Ekiti State.
He was 72 years old at the time of his death.
