MTN Nigeria has reconnected 3.4 million subscribers that were disconnected in August following directive of the Nigerian Communications Commission.

The group’s third quarter results indicated that the 3.4 million subscribers were part of the 5.1 million disconnected subscribers at the end of August 2015.

MTN Nigeria reported that while management continued to engage with the regulator, performance was impacted by ongoing regulatory restrictions in the country.
