Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has declared that his administration is perfecting a four-year development plan for the state.

Speaking when he received the officials of Katsina State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) who paid him a courtesy visit, Masari said the plan is in line with his administration’s restoration agenda to reposition the state.

He maintained that his administration is laying a solid foundation for the development of the state and noted that the four-year plan will be “especially in the area of education, health and agriculture”.

Masari also decried the deplorable state of education, saying that Katsina State cannot compete even inside Nigeria let alone outside in the area of education, hence the development plan.

“The level of decay in education can best be seen by those who are opportuned to visit the schools. The decay is so alarming”, he said, assuring that his administration is poised to lay a solid foundation for sincere, honest and purposeful leadership.

Earlier in a speech, the vice chairman of the Katsina State chapter of NIA, Muntari Sani, pledged the association’s commitment to supporting the APC administration for the development of the state.
