Governor Wike of Rivers State Appoints New Acting Chief Judge

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has approved the appointment of Hon. Justice A. I. Iyayi-Lamikanra as the Acting Judge of the State.

The appointment follows reports that Justice Daisy Okocha will be resigning today.

A statement issued by Simeon Nwakaudu, the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, disclosed that Hon. Justice A. I. Iyayi-Lamikanra would be sworn in by Governor Wike today (Friday) at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House, Port Harcourt.
