The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has said that the anti-graft agency, will never disobey court orders, in its determination to fight corruption.

Magu made the commitment Tuesday in Abuja, during his brief meeting with EFCC’s correspondents at the Commission’s headquarters.

The pledge is coming at a time the state is being accused of disobeying some valid court orders.

“We will never have any cause to disobey any court order; we will never,” Magu pledged.

While underscoring the importance of the media in the fight against corruption, the anti-graft agency’s boss said: “We cannot…function properly in this work we are doing without the media.”
