Supreme Court Upholds Okezie Ikpeazu’s Election

The Supreme Court has restored Okezie Ikpeazu as the duly elected Governor of Abia State quashing an earlier judgement of the court of appeal which had declared Alex Otti of the All Progressives grand Alliance, APGA, as the duly elected Governor.

By its decision, the apex court affirmed the decision of the Election Petition Tribunal which had declared Ikpeazu of the PDP duly elected as Governor.

The Justices of the supreme court say they will give reason for their judgement on Friday, February 26th.
