The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, said 200 truckloads of Premium Motor Spirit were on Thursday supplied to Abuja and its environs.

This is contained in a statement signed by Garba Deen Muhammad, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, in Abuja.

It gave the assurance that the corporation was doing everything humanly possible to ensure supply and distribution of products were not disrupted in any way.

It appealed to motorists to be orderly while waiting to buy petrol.

It also called on marketers not to hoard the product.

It further urged the public not to engage in panic buying, adding the corporation had enough supply to go round the country.
