Scores of persons were in the early hours of today, reportedly killed after suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

It was learnt that members of the communities have fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka in fear of attacks.

Confirming the incident to Vanguard, Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, said a combined team of police and Army have moved to the area.
