Jos, NIGERIA – Renowned cleric Apostle Joshua Selman has donated relief materials valued at over ₦100 million to victims of recent tragic attacks in Plateau State, calling for resilience and a collective effort to rebuild the state.

Okay News understands that the founder of Eternity Network International (ENI) made the presentation on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, during a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Old Government House in Rayfield, Jos.

The donation, which Apostle Selman described as a “practical demonstration of compassion,” includes a truckload of 3,000 bags of rice and cooking oil. These materials are to be distributed across affected communities and church blocs through the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Additionally, the cleric provided undisclosed financial support specifically targeted at families who lost loved ones or livelihoods in the recent unrest.

“We are here to lend our voice with the government and the good people of Plateau that there is still hope,” Selman stated during the visit. “In the midst of chaos and unfortunate incidents, God is still on the throne, and there is always a way out.”

Governor Mutfwang, while receiving the items, described the gesture as timely and a reflection of the “strong sense of unity” needed to navigate the state’s current challenges. He noted that the government and religious bodies are working tirelessly to support all affected persons, regardless of their religious affiliation, and urged other well-meaning Nigerians to join in the peacebuilding and recovery efforts.

The visit comes as the Plateau State Government announced a relaxation of the curfew in Jos North, signaling a cautious return to normalcy following weeks of heightened tension.
