Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned against attempts to hinder the progress of the Dangote Refinery, a significant private sector project aimed at meeting Nigeria’s energy and foreign exchange needs.
In a statement on X, Atiku emphasized the importance of safeguarding the refinery from both internal and external forces that may seek to prevent the country from benefiting from the project.
Atiku likened the need to protect the refinery to a parent’s duty to nurture and develop their child, stressing that investments, whether local or international, require careful attention to thrive.
